May 10--Cumberland Gap

Well, we were supposed to just drive all day, but Marilyn was driving along and said, "where are we?", and I said, "about 5 miles from Cumberland Gap", and she said, "Cumberland Gap!  Are we going through Cumberland Gap?  I went there as a kid.  We have to stop there", and I said okay so we did and it turns out they have lovely hiking trails, so I got permission to hike for an hour on a ridge trail.  It was up and downy, just like climbing hotel stairs, haha.  I got in about 2.5 miles.  Oh and I did climb the hotel stairs this morning, 50 floors.   We got into our hotel very late!
